Unseasonable weather and unreasonable “leaders”. However, our activist community has never been so active and growing so rapidly. We are here, we are fighting, and we aren’t going anywhere. Lean on us when you need to, and lean in with us when you can.

A Message to our Community

I know that many of us are a day away from breaking.  The intense daily drama, lies, and misinformation is alarming and exhausting.  You’re the only one who can take care of yourself, and our community cares about you.  Please take time to step away for maybe a week, or two to reset.  Call and meet up with a friend you haven’t seen in a while or reach out to someone you know you are guaranteed to have a few belly laughs.  Then let’s put some positive thoughts in our heads and think about the wonderful blue wave that’s coming.  Because we have to believe and we’ll see you soon!

Immigration Corner

Esquina de Immigracion

Denver Public Schools is considering a policy to limit cooperation with ICE by designating schools as safe zones and stopping DPS staff from working with ICE unless they have a judicial warrant.

CU Boulder did a study that found daily ICE arrests reached a record high in 2025, while the number of people being arrested with a criminal record reached a near historic low.

American Immigration Council Blog had a great article on all the pieces necessary to protect our immigrant communities. It is not just community response that is important but also action from local and state authorities. Remember to ask your elected officials what they are doing to be prepared.

Beware of ICE Tricksters

For our immigrants: be aware that ICE is trying every trick in the book to take you in.  Masquerading as food delivery drivers, pulling fire alarms to get you out of your building, not wearing any of the standard outfits to fool you, assuring you that they are the police (and their not), pretending they are recruiters for jobs and blatantly violating your rights. This message isn’t to cause harm or additional stresses, it’s a message to help you be aware of their tactics. Below are some measures to help keep you safe.

Politics at Play

Caucuses Incoming!

Caucuses will take place in early March ( March 7 in Adams and Jefferson counties), available only to registered party voters. Caucusing is one way a candidate can get on the primary ballot. Caucuses are held by each party to allow registered party voters to select the candidates of their choice. You can also contact your candidate(s) of choice and ask them how to caucus for them.

Steps of the caucus process:

  1. This process starts with a Precinct Caucus, held locally by the county party. At the Precinct caucus, you can also put your name in the ring to be selected as a delegate to attend the county and state assemblies.

  2. Next is the County Assembly with all delegates who were selected at the precinct caucus voting on candidate choices. There is also a legislative assembly.

  3. Finally, the State Assembly is held for the final vote of delegates to elect the party candidates for the primary ballot. In order to get placed on that ballot, the candidate must receive 30% of the votes.

Where are they held? Some precinct caucuses are held in person, others are on line. Contact your Democratic or Republican party in your county to get more information.

When are they held? The assembly is about 7 days (around the 14th) after the precinct caucus. The State Assembly is March 28th in Pueblo.

You can find more caucus information at each of the following sites.

ABOUT US >

We are a Colorado volunteer organization formed in 2025 in Westminster and the surrounding areas, under the Indivisible banner.

We have come together as a local group stricken by this administration’s actions and promises, as well as by the  decades of strategic planning that have allowed for it.

We operate under the assumption that we can direct meaningful change, regardless of how small.
